My coaching perspective originates from collaborating with clients as a Professional Coach.
In the clinical psychology domain, I draw upon my education and experience after completing a Master's degree and Ph.D. (Candidate) in Clinical Psychology.
Finally, my career coaching perspective comes from real-world corporate experience in product and innovation management at Microsoft, Mozilla, TD Bank, The Globe and Mail, and Bell Canada.
2018 was the year I returned to coaching and psychotherapy, launched my private practice, and became an author.
I embarked on a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at York University in 2013.
In 2011 I began the process of integrating my background in clinical psychology with information technology and entered the field of health informatics. I completed a postgraduate Health Informatics Certificate at George Brown College in Toronto.
Between the 2000s and 2010s, I managed teams in diverse corporate environments. I had the pleasure of working for technology companies such as Microsoft, Mozilla as well as Bell Canada and TD Bank.
During my clinical psychology training, I counseled students at the Counselling and Development Centre at York University in Toronto.
In 1992 I completed a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus on cognitive psychology. My research investigated how metaphors are used in counseling and psychotherapy to enhance communication between the client and mental health professional.
